The Last One - 1997; 8th Grade
I wrote this short story for an eighth grade assignment. With the knowledge and encouragement that my teacher had given me, this quickly became my favorite short story that I had written. This science fiction story takes place in the year 3004 where a man must go against all odds to save humanity. It is definitely worth reading.

Under the Moons - 11/20/1998; 9th Grade
One of the assignments in my ninth grade class was to write a description of a futuristic house. Many students wrote about technology that actually already existed, but I think you will find my ideas to be pretty original. The freaky thing is that things like these may very well be part of everyday life in the future.

A Splash of magic - 1995; 7th Grade
In seventh grade, my class had the assignment of meeting with a third grader and writing a story about him/her. Once all the stories were finished, we again met with the third graders, read our stories to them, and gave them the bound story books that we had made. My third grade buddy's name was Aliyah. Her interests were in basketball, and she had recently taken a trip to Disneyland. This story incorperates many of her interests and experiences into a fantasy adventure.

Fortunately and Unfortunately - 1993; 3th Grade
In third grade, our class had just read a short story book, Fortunately and Unfortunately. We were then told to write our own fortunately and unfortunately stories. Well, here it is - all the way from third grade!
