  • Doublet - This 15th century Renaissance doublet is made of cotton velveteen and is laced in both the front and sides. Wear with Breeches or Hosen.

    Available in Navy, Rouge, or Hunter.
    All reverse to Black.

    Instructions for Putting on the Doublet

    1. Notice that the doublet is laced part way up the front. This is called a lock lace and it holds very well. Go around the bottom two grommets twice coming out on each side. Then cross over and through the next grommet and across and out the grommet on the same level.
    2. When wearing the first time you may need to loosen both the side lacings. Lace up the front as you would like it and then retighten the side lacings. After the first time you will not need to do anything with the side lacings unless you want to adjust the doublet.
